This forest is commercial timber land that was bought by our family in 1978 after it had been recently logged. Since that time it has recovered marvelously and we are working to manage it in a more sustainable way into the future. Our plan is to focus on the recreational value of the forest, specializing in guided forest activities, while continuing to manage the timber for long term sustainable harvest
